Technical Engineering Program Manager
Do you dream of championing the product development of next-generation hardware and software that will revolutionize autonomy for buildings?
What you will be doing:
As a Technical Engineering Program Manager at PassiveLogic, you will support engineering teams by creating and maintaining the roadmaps for the products they build. You will provide guidance on initiatives and priorities, balancing long-term goals and near-term product releases. Your technical knowledge will help you clear roadblocks and fill knowledge gaps in the teams you support, ensuring that the products you are responsible for provide value to customers and are released on schedule.
You will work closely with the UI/UX, front end, back end, sales, and customer success teams to define work streams to support customer releases. You will work hand in glove with the project managers to ensure the work plan supports the technical road map. Your passion for exemplary user experience design will help you shape the product roadmap to develop products that define a new category of autonomy for the built environment.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the road map for your product domains, and define the work streams for the engineers working on those products.
- We start every engineering effort with design; support UI/UX and engineering teams to deliver clearly documented product designs
- Validate fidelity to the design in the products the team creates
- Behave with accountability to the “big picture”, a bias for action, and a sound data-driven methodology for decision-making in imperfect situations
- Prioritize and deliver product outcomes, ensuring that the product adheres closely to its design and timeline
- Clearly communicate plans, progress, goals, and roadblocks to stakeholders— producing reporting artifacts that enable sound decision-making
- Be a go-to expert on the latest product trends in software tools and evaluate new technology capabilities we can leverage

- A high-energy, outgoing personality—as a leader, you are passionate about sharing knowledge, elevating the skills of the team, and enabling others to succeed
- Strong ability to articulate the “what” and “why” of design decisions so that team members can understand both high-level concepts as well as the specifics of what needs to be implemented
- A strong desire and commitment to establish your career as a innovative leader and product champion for an industry-disrupting product ecosystem
- Ability to communicate in nuance, understanding that what people say they want and what they actually want may differ
- Ability to stay closely aligned with leadership (including the CEO) through the development process
