Job Summary
Villa della Pergola, a historic residence in Alassio, Italy, is a luxury Relais & Châteaux hotel with 19 unique rooms, a botanical garden, and a SPA. The property is expanding and seeks a Sales Manager to drive commercial development and market positioning. The role involves defining sales plans, analyzing markets, developing partnerships, implementing marketing strategies, coordinating promotions, attending industry events, and supporting experiential packages. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of luxury hospitality sales experience, strong market knowledge, excellent communication, and proficiency in English and sales tools.
Must Have
- Define and implement the commercial and sales plan in agreement with management.
- Analyze target markets, identifying new segments, partners, and business opportunities (individual, corporate, leisure, events).
- Develop collaborations with affiliated brands, industry operators, travel agencies, and high-end tour operators.
- Devise and implement marketing and brand promotion strategies.
- Coordinate commercial promotion and communication activities, online and offline, in synergy with the property.
- Participate in national and international trade fairs, workshops, and industry events, representing Villa della Pergola and Relais & Châteaux values.
- Support the development of campaigns, offers, and experiential packages in line with the Maison's philosophy.
- Draft periodic reports and propose corrective actions and growth strategies.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales/commercial roles, preferably in the luxury hotel sector or experiential tourism.
- In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality market dynamics and distribution channels.
- Excellent relational, negotiation, and representation skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of CRM tools, channel management, and revenue analysis.
- Proactive attitude, flexibility, strategic vision, and strong results orientation.
- Sensitivity to service excellence, authenticity, and Relais & Châteaux values.

Job Description
The property is currently experiencing a period of profitable evolution and expansion, and is looking for a Sales Manager capable of actively contributing to commercial development and market positioning, in close collaboration with the General Management.

- Analyze target markets, identifying new segments, partners, and business opportunities (individual, corporate, leisure, events).
