Job Description

As the in-house Scriptwriter & Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating engaging, fast-paced scripts for vertical 90s episodic content, crafting hooks, escalations, mini twists, and cliffhangers. You'll collaborate on story arcs and character development across 60–80 episode series. Additionally, you will review, edit, and structure scripts submitted by external production houses. You will also lead script feedback sessions and manage internal/external writing workflows, ensuring tone, pace, and plot consistency.

Good To Have:

Prior experience in managing or mentoring a writers’ room.
Familiarity with screenwriting software (Final Draft, Celtx, etc.).
Passion for Indian pop culture, youth trends, and bingeable content.

Must Have:

Exceptional fiction writing skills and visual storytelling.
Experience writing short-format, episodic, or reel-style content.
Deep understanding of audience retention in vertical video formats.
Love for character-driven narratives and cliffhangers.
Ability to balance creative voice with content structure.

About the Role:

We're building a powerhouse of 90–120 second episodes that hook viewers in the first 3 seconds and leave them begging for the next one. As our in-house Scriptwriter & Content Strategist, you'll be the brain behind the plot twists, emotional punches, and binge-worthy cliffhangers.

You’ll also lead the review of external scripts and manage our growing writers’ room.

Key Responsibilities:

Write engaging, fast-paced scripts for vertical 90s episodic content
Craft hooks, escalations, mini twists, and cliffhangers tailored for mobile consumption
Collaborate on story arcs and character development across 60–80 episode series
Review, edit, and structure scripts submitted by external production houses
Maintain tone, pace, and plot consistency across all episodes
Curate references and format guides for external writers
Lead script feedback sessions and manage internal/external writing workflows

You Should Have:

Exceptional fiction writing skills with a strong grasp of visual storytelling
Experience writing for short-format, episodic, or reel-style content
Deep understanding of audience retention patterns in vertical video formats
A love for character-driven narratives, emotional tension, and cliffhanger rhythm
Ability to balance creative voice with content structure and pacing demands

Bonus Points:

Prior experience in managing or mentoring a writers’ room
Familiarity with screenwriting software (Final Draft, Celtx, etc.)
Passion for Indian pop culture, youth trends, and bingeable content
