POLITICO is seeking a Senior Business System Administrator to join our global business systems team, overseeing the day-to-day management of our business systems platform across our business partners. This critical role supports and , oversees security and integration administration, and drives optimization of global business processes.

What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary administrator for our global business systems, with a focus on Workday. Responsibilities include system configuration, troubleshooting, report development, business process optimization, and security administration across HCM, Finance, and other integrated modules.
- Lead ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and release management, ensuring updates are tested and deployed with minimal disruption.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand business needs and recommend effective solutions and improve business systems adoption and utilization.
- Manage and resolve system issues through both internal ticketing systems (HR and Finance) and 3rd party business system’s case management. This includes tracking, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and business systems support.
- Design, build, and maintain custom reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and business processes.
- Stay current with systems releases and leverage updates applicable to business requirements.
- Oversee configuration and maintenance of business systems, with responsibility for security roles and foundational setup, ensuring all changes are carefully reviewed to avoid unintended impacts to global settings.
- Ensure system’s health, data integrity through regular audits, validations, and system checks.
- Support HR and Finance with change management training and communication for system enhancements or new functionality.
- Support the creation of technical documentation for systems configuration and related integrations
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support system integrations (e.g., payroll, benefits, travel and expenses, etc.).
- Other tasks as identified and assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, information technology or systems, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a business systems (HRIS or ERP) Administrator, including configuration and support.
- Some Workday knowledge or experience required under requirements.
- Solid understanding of business systems security framework and managing user access, security roles and permissions.
- Proven ability to create and maintain complex reports (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports).
- Knowledgeable with release management, with hands-on experience assessing, testing, and deploying biannual updates and feature releases.
