Job Summary
The Senior Finance Supervisor will act as the 2IC to the Philippines Finance Leader, supporting financial operations for TIPI and TIPS entities. This role focuses on treasury management, statutory compliance, and strategic financial planning, ensuring financial integrity and driving performance insights. Key responsibilities include overseeing cash flow, managing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial support to cross-functional teams. The role is based in Makati City, Metro Manila, with a hybrid working environment.
Must Have
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships for TIPI/TIPS
- Manage month-end close, P&L and balance sheet reviews, and preparation of reporting packs
- Ensure full compliance with local tax, corporate, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
- Drive process enhancements across financial operations and treasury
- Own and continuously improve the end-to-end Accounts Payable process for TIPS
- Deliver all requirements in the Treasurer role of TIPS
- CPA, CMA, or CA fully qualified
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or related course
- Proven experience in financial control and treasury management in a multinational or regional setting
- Background in leadership roles in finance or treasury
- Strong technical accounting background and familiarity with Philippine financial regulations
- Demonstrated ability to lead audits, manage compliance, and deliver high-quality reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
Good to Have
- Experience in managing outsourced/shared services teams
- Knowledge in SAP
- Big 4 experience
- IFRS15 knowledge

The teams across the S&F Financial Management Chapter provide a wide range of financial management services that guide and empower our business. We have several key relationships supporting Telstra business operations to corporate leadership, our customers, our people and shareholders.
In Strategy & Finance, we operate in an agile environment so that we can better prioritise our work, flow the right resources to that work, develop our people and ultimately support our business stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for our customers and our shareholders. This role sits within our Financial Management Chapter Area, a ~400 strong global team of financial professionals who provide business partnering and FP&A services to missions across the organisation.
About the Role
- The Sr. Finance Supervisor will be the 2IC to the Philippines Finance Leader, you will support the financial operations for TIPI and TIPS entities, with a strong focus on treasury management, statutory compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, driving performance insights, and supporting commercial decision-making across the business.
- This role combines leadership, technical accounting, and treasury expertise to manage financial reporting, cash flow, and regulatory obligations while enabling strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
- 'Important note: the role will be based in our office in Makati City, Metro Manila and will be in a HYBRID working environment.

What You’ll Do
This is how you'll bring the purpose of your role to life:
Treasury Leadership
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships for TIPI/TIPS.
- Ensure optimal capital structure and working capital efficiency.
- Lead treasury-related compliance and reporting (e.g., BSP, FX regulations).
Financial Control & Reporting
- Manage month-end close, P&L and balance sheet reviews, and preparation of reporting packs.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory and management reporting.
- Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with local tax, corporate, and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to queries from tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain robust internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations and industry standards affecting financial compliance
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Develop financial models and analysis to support decision-making and performance improvement.
- Act as Finance 2IC to the Philippines Finance Leader and support regional finance transformation projects.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process enhancements across financial operations and treasury.
- Support ERP and system upgrades, automation initiatives, and shared services optimization.
Manage the P2P process of TIPS
- Own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable process so that all supplier liabilities of TIPS are recorded and paid accurately and on time in line with company policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures operational excellence in invoice intake to comply with EOPT Laws, matching & validations, exceptions, approvals, payment execution (EFT), remittances, and vendor master data governance across SAPphire and connected systems
Deliver all requirements in the Treasurer role of TIPS
- To keep full and accurate books of accounts of the TIPS.
- To render annual financial statements of the TIPS to the board directors and officers.
- To prepare the financial reports, statements and certifications and other documents which maybe required by government rules and regulations and to submit the same to the proper government agencies.
About You
To be successful in the role, you should have:
- CPA, CMA, or CA fully qualified
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or related course
