Kwalee is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner for their Bangalore team. This role involves driving high-quality, end-to-end recruitment for casual, hybrid casual, and PC & Console game development. The partner will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and closing top-tier talent, acting as a strategic consultant to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, and ensuring a world-class candidate experience within a creative and collaborative environment.
Must Have:
  • Manage the entire recruitment life cycle from requirement gathering to onboarding handover.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies beyond job boards.
  • Conduct thorough, competency-based screening and interviews.
  • Track and report recruitment activity and metrics.
  • Act as an advisor and Talent Acquisition Business Partner to senior stakeholders.
  • Communicate market insights, progress, and solutions to leadership.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and create job specifications.
  • Ensure recruitment process compliance with company and local laws.
  • Build and maintain a strong industry presence and talent network in Indian Tech and Gaming.
  • Attend industry and university events to attract top talent.
  • Maintain expert-level understanding of competitive intelligence and market compensation.
  • Proven 360 Recruitment Expertise (full-cycle, end-to-end recruitment).
  • Demonstrable success recruiting for specialist roles in Technology or Gaming in India.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly proactive, self-starter mindset with capability to operate independently.
  • Experience working with and reporting on key recruitment metrics.

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be crucial in establishing and driving high-quality, end-to-end recruitment.

You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and closing top-tier talent, acting as a strategic consultant to hiring managers and senior stakeholders, and ensuring a world-class candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

Full-Cycle 360 Recruitment

  • Expertly manage the entire recruitment life cycle for all roles from requirement gathering to offer negotiation and onboarding handover.
  • Proactively develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, networking, boolean search, and market mapping to identify and engage passive, high-calibre candidates, moving beyond reliance on job boards.
  • Conduct thorough, competency-based screening and interviews to evaluate candidates on both technical skills and cultural alignment.
  • Manage a candidate database and ensure all recruitment activity and metrics are accurately tracked and reported on a consistent basis.

Strategic Business Partnership & Communication

  • Act as an advisor and Talent Acquisition Business Partner to senior stakeholders including the leadership team.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate market insights, recruitment progress, challenges, and proposed solutions to stakeholders and senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand their team structure, long-term talent needs, and specific job requirements to create accurate, compelling job specifications and targeted recruitment plans.
  • Drive recruitment process excellence by ensuring compliance with all company processes, procedures, and local employment laws.

Employer Branding & Market Expertise

  • Proactively build and maintain a strong industry presence and talent network within the Indian Tech and Gaming world to continually pipeline candidates for current and future needs.
  • Attend relevant industry and university events (virtually or in-person) to market the company's employee value proposition (EVP) and attract top talent.
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of competitive intelligence, market compensation benchmarks, and industry trends to advise on hiring strategy.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven 360 Recruitment Expertise: Significant, hands-on experience owning the full-cycle, end-to-end recruitment process (sourcing, screening, managing the interview process, feedback, offer negotiation, and closing) without heavy reliance on agencies.
  • Tech/Gaming Recruitment Background: Demonstrable success recruiting for highly specialist, difficult-to-fill roles within the Technology or Gaming sector in India (e.g., Software Engineers, Game Developers, Product Managers, Data Engineers).
  • Proactive & Consultative Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to influence and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders (Director level and above).
  • Ownership & Drive: A highly proactive, self-starter mindset with the capability to operate independently, set priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Experience working with and reporting on key recruitment metrics (e.g., Time-to-Hire & Offer Acceptance Rate) to drive continuous improvement.
