As a Senior Unreal Engine Developer, you will be responsible for developing clean, maintainable, and efficient C++ code for gameplay systems and mechanics within Unreal Engine 4 or 5. You will collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to implement new features, and perform code reviews to uphold quality. You will also profile and optimize systems to enhance performance. The role involves remote work with flexible hours in a transparent and friendly team.
Must have:
  • 4+ years Unreal Engine experience
  • 5+ years C++ programming experience
  • 2+ years multiplayer game development experience
  • Experience with Combat/Ability system
  • Proficiency with Perforce (P4) and Swarm for version control
  • Experience conducting and participating in code reviews
  • Strong profiling skills using Unreal’s Stats system and Unreal Insights
Good to have:
  • Experience with P4 and Swarm
  • Understanding of basic microservice architecture
  • Experience with Unreal Game Sync (UGS)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with third-party profilers (e.g., Visual Studio Profiler)

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UE Gameplay Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Unreal Engine and C++ programming, particularly in multiplayer game development.

About us:
G-SPACE STUDIO LTD is a European game development studio. Our company has been developing games and applications since 2011. We work with partners from Europe, Canada, and the USA.
We started as a small team of indie Flash game developers, and now we are a solid studio of game development veterans. We love games and know almost everything about them. We are developing high-quality products of varying complexity, such as MMORPG, AR / VR games, and applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient C++ code for gameplay systems and mechanics.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and programmers to implement new features.
  • Perform thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to uphold code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Profile and optimize systems to enhance performance.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in C++ programming.
  • 2+ years of experience developing multiplayer games.
  • Experience Combat/Ability system. 
  • Proficiency with Perforce (P4) and Swarm for version control.
  • Experience conducting and participating in code reviews.
