Job Description

This role is for an Offer Engineering Manager in Sensors within Thales' Optronics and Missile Electronics entity, located in Elancourt, France. You will join an experienced team of Sensor Architects and IVVQ Managers, focusing on developing new optronic products for various clients. Key responsibilities include capturing and defining offer frameworks, piloting engineering estimates, structuring activities, managing the costing process, capitalizing on cost models, and contributing to continuous improvement in a multidisciplinary project environment.

The context:

Within the Optronics and Missile Electronics entity, you will join the Technical Competence Center whose scope covers all technical disciplines for development and production programs of airborne, terrestrial, naval, and missile electronics products for the French & Export markets.

Your missions:

  • Capture and define offer frameworks and associated assumptions,
  • Pilot and produce Sensor Engineering quotes in coordination with relevant discipline leads,
  • Define, quantify, and structure activities in detail, identifying associated risks,
  • Manage the costing process through to quote validation,
  • Capitalize and maintain cost models,
  • Deploy engineering initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement.
