Job Description

The Service Delivery Manager will lead and direct pre- and post-sales services and support for customers in South East England. This role focuses on executing service delivery processes to ensure maximum customer satisfaction, leading Field Service Engineers, and fostering teamwork. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships, providing technical input for sales processes, people management, and ensuring compliance with service and quality policies.
Must Have:
  • Provide leadership and direction for pre- and post-sales services and support to customers in South East England.
  • Execute service delivery processes in the district ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Lead Field Services Engineers, ensuring high teamwork and engagement levels.
  • Manage customer relations, recognizing needs and proactively managing relationships.
  • Work with district sales and project management to provide technical input for OAP and ORP.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Field Service Engineers, ensuring service execution per Philips procedures.
  • Conduct performance management and people development, including training plans.
  • Ensure service delivery operations compliance performance within the district.
  • Report compliance issues to quality & regulatory functions at regional level.
  • Ensure installation base accuracy and monitor maintenance operations aligned with service manuals and quality policies.
  • Relevant experience in med tech sector.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Field service management experience.
  • Experience in Customer Services environment.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of technically skilled individuals.
  • Technical expertise of problem solving.
  • Degree level education or equivalent.
  • Full driving licence.

The purpose of this exciting Service Delivery Manager role is to provide leadership and direction for the delivery of pre- and post-sales services and support to customers in the South East area of England.

As the focal point for all operational service delivery related issues, you are responsible for executing the service delivery processes in the district ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. You will lead the Field Services Engineers ensuring a high level of teamwork and engagement levels.

You are responsible for

  • Managing customer relations: The customer experience is paramount, therefore the role will involve the recognition of customer needs, and the proactive management of customer relationships..
  • Team Liaison: Working with district sales and project management to provide technical input in support of the Order Acquisition Process (OAP) and Order Realization process (ORP)
  • People Management: Leading and mentoring a team of Field Service Engineers and ensuring service execution according to Philips procedures and processes. Your role will also include performance management and people development, including training plans.
  • Compliance: You will be responsible for service delivery operations compliance performance within the district and also for reporting compliance issues to quality & regulatory functions at regional level. Ensuring installation of base accuracy and monitoring maintenance operations are aligned with relevant business service manuals and quality policies.

You are a part of the Service and Solutions Delivery Team reporting to the Service Delivery Lead UKI. You will be part of a supportive team of Service Delivery Managers across the UK.
