Get to know the role
- Job Title: Sr. Event Security and Safety Manager
- Job Summary: The Sr. Event Security and Safety Manager will manage the end-to-end physical security and safety of our owned consumer events (Regional, International, and World Championships). This role requires heavy travel (12 - 15 events per year) where you will act as the point person for our security operations and incident response. Day-to-day the role reports to the Director of Global Esports & Events but during events the role will report to the designated Event Manager as part of each events organizational structure.

What you’ll do
- Drive end-to-end planning for physical security and safety across all premier events in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania.
- Manage and coordinate security plans in partnership with premier event and convention event managers including review of guard, medical, and other safety personnel assignments.
- Travel to each North American Regional Championships, each International Championships, and the World Championships and act as event security lead overseeing our security vendor and security operations (12-15 events per year)
- Manage event security and safety incident responses on site and lead coordination of escalated situations working closely with our security vendor, emergency resources, and internal event managers, legal, PR, CS, and trust & safety team.
- Provide after action reports for each premier event and escalate issues as needed to stake holders.
- Review and draft event security and safety manuals and processes
- Conduct cost and budget analysis, estimating expected costs for annual security program of ~30 events.
- Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk.
- Act as a liaison between TPCi, customers, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
What you’ll bring
- Eight (8) to eleven (11) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Training in CPR and other first aid responses is a plus.
- Knowledge of Pokémon is a plus.

- Base salary range: For this role, new hires generally start between $125,000 - $148,200. The full range is $125,000 - $187,000. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
