Job Summary

As a Staff Technician for FM Electrical & Controls at Infineon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and operational safety of our technical and electrical systems. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the optimal functioning of electronic controls and maintaining the smooth operation of voltage systems and overall technical infrastructure. You will be tasked with ensuring the continuous operational readiness of low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, managing technical infrastructure and building technology, and maintaining fire protection systems. This involves performing essential repairs, routine maintenance, and thorough inspections on all electrical installations, alongside meticulous documentation and comprehensive energy and meter management.

Must Have

  • Ensure continuous operational readiness of low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear.
  • Ensure ongoing operational capability of technical infrastructure and building technology.
  • Responsible for the stable functioning of fire protection systems.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, servicing, and inspections on electrical systems.
  • Ensure proper documentation.
  • Responsible for energy and meter management.
  • Completed training as an electrician (mechatronics technician, industrial electrician, electronics technician, power electronics technician, or similar).
  • Initial experience with technical or infrastructure systems in building operations.
  • Proficient in German communication.

Good to Have

  • Ideally, willingness to be trained as a 20kV switching authorized person.
  • Basic knowledge of English.
  • Flexibility for 2-shift operation and on-call duty.
  • Team player with enthusiasm for optimizing technical systems.
