Job Description

Work with the North American Region Business Development Team to develop complex customer arrangements and ensure financial and accounting requirements are achieved. Act as a trusted resource for internal evaluation of the profitability of these customer arrangements. Be the primary finance representative in customer contracting and negotiations. Oversee and manage the financial aspects of assigned customers in the post-sale (delivery) phase, including operationalizing the contract in CRM, monthly/annual invoicing, true-ups, and maintaining financial models. Partner with Capital to manage balance sheet exposure and prepare financial reporting packages for customers. Construct and articulate the enterprise-wide financial view for new business opportunities and ensure agreements are properly executed from an external audit perspective.
Must Have:
  • 10+ years of proven and well-rounded finance experience
  • able to understand and explain the impact of (market) developments on business results and then translate into financial consequences
  • Success in a global, quickly transforming environment
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting
  • MBA or other advanced degree required
  • able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements
  • ability to represent the Business across other BG’s and functions

Job Description

Work with the North American Region Business Development Team to develop complex customer arrangements and ensure financial and accounting requirements are achieved. Act as a trusted resource for internal evaluation of the profitability of these customer arrangements. Be the primary finance representative in customer contracting and negotiations.

Your role:

  • Oversee and manage the financial aspects of assigned customers in the post-sale (delivery) phase including operationalizing the contract in CRM tool, monthly/annual invoicing and true ups and maintaining and updating the financial models and work closely with Accounting to ensure books are complete and accurate based on activity of assigned customers.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional leads to ensure operational readiness with each partnership and Partner with Capital to manage balance sheet exposure of assigned contracts
  • Prepare and distribute financial reporting packages to customers on a regular cadence and act as the Finance representative for partnerships.
  • Be able to construct and articulate the enterprise-wide financial view when new business opportunities are presented.
  • Ensure the agreements are properly executed from an external Audit perspective.

  • You have a University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting; MBA or other advanced degree required

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in (Massachusetts) is $118,000 to $165,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
