Supply Chain Director

This full-time hybrid role in Boston, MA, involves managing global logistics, inventory, and manufacturing. The director will lead strategic initiatives in purchasing, forecasting, and distribution to ensure supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness, with 25% international travel and remote work options.

Must Have

• Oversee international purchasing, cost analysis, and supplier negotiations.
• Manage global logistics, optimizing freight consolidation and transit times.
• Develop and maintain demand forecasting processes for inventory planning.
• Lead inventory management strategies, including safety stock calculations.
• Supervise and mentor supply chain and logistics staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in operations or supply chain roles with analytical focus.
• Proven expertise in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
• Hands-on experience with international sourcing, freight forwarding, and customs compliance, especially China-to-US logistics.
• Demonstrated success working with 3PL partners and operating within Amazon FBA / third-party seller supply chains.

• Lead inventory management strategies, including safety stock calculations and proactive lifecycle management to prevent stock issues.
• Supervise and mentor supply chain and logistics staff, fostering collaboration and operational improvements across teams.

Supply Chain Director Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in operations or supply chain roles with a strong analytical focus.
