WHO ARE WE ?

S3NS was born from the industrial partnership between Thales, a world leader in cybersecurity, and Google Cloud, a world leader in cloud solutions. Our ambition is to offer the best of both worlds to all organizations concerned with protecting their sensitive data (public institutions, OIV, OSE, etc.). That is to say, a solution equivalent to Google Cloud Platform (including both GCP IaaS and PaaS services) and respecting the requirements of the SecNumCloud label.

A first offer, 'Local Controls with S3NS', has been available since February 2023 to allow our customers to benefit from a first level of transparency and additional controls, and to accelerate the trajectory towards the trusted cloud.

Within the S3NS IT department, you will play a key role in the integration, maintenance, evolution, and monitoring of operational system/Linux environments (NixOS in particular). Your mission will be to guarantee their stability, performance, and compliance with the operational and security requirements of the company. You will directly contribute to the construction of a sovereign, controlled, reproducible environment, aligned with strong security requirements.

Secure administration workstations (N4):

Based on the needs expressed by the production SRE teams, you will be involved in the following missions:

• Participate in the optimization and maintenance of existing systems for production workstations.
• Participate in the management of technologies, monitoring, and update tools (TPM, onboarding, PKI, CMDB, log collection, etc.).
• Provide Linux technical assistance to internal engineers for problem resolution.

IT System Tools

• Maintenance and supervision of Linux servers on the "IT" side (NixOS), including inventory, updates, and preventive actions.
• Participation in CI/CD maintenance (Woodpecker).
• Travel to DataCenters to onboard administration workstations.

Your profile :

You have a Master's degree (bac+5) with solid experience with one or more Linux systems (Debian, Red Hat, Arch...). Familiarity or curiosity for Nix/NixOS is a major asset.

• Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools (Nix, Bash, Python, Go), as well as version control systems (git) and CI/CD.

The scope is varied, but distributed and shared: you work in collaboration with other engineers and specialized teams.

As part of the SecNumCloud qualification of our services, delivered by ANSSI, this position is subject to enhanced security requirements. The successful candidate will undergo a background check procedure conducted by our services, in accordance with our Personnel Security Policy.
