Job Description

Join our team as a Technical Application Manager and play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business applications and infrastructure. This full-time position, based in Leusden, requires three days per week on-site. You will provide enterprise-level technical support, manage application environments, and collaborate closely with development teams to deliver exceptional service. Acting as a trusted operational contact for clients, you will support incident and change management processes while adhering to industry best practices.

  • Provide on-site technical support when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation for installations, configurations, and maintenance activities
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Ensure timely patch management and installation of updates
  • Bachelor degree in IT or related field and solid and relevant experience (or equivalent combination)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced technical support for applications, platforms, and data management systems
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs
  • Identify, record, and classify high-impact problems; perform root cause analysis and implement action plans
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to deploy fixes and minor changes
  • Provide on-site technical support when required
  • Maintain accurate documentation for installations, configurations, and maintenance activities
  • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes
  • Ensure timely patch management and installation of updates

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Technical Skills

  • Infrastructure maintenance (network, servers, VMware; storage preferred)
  • VMware/ESX installation and configuration
  • Windows Server 2016+ (installation, configuration)
  • IIS Web Portal / FTP
  • MS SQL databases (installation, backup/restore)
  • Technical application management (monitoring, analysis, resolution, configuration)
  • 2nd line support and testing updates/changes
  • Identity and Access Management (preferred)
  • IT security (preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Must be proficient in Dutch and English, with the ability to communicate fluently and accurately in both languages
  • Ability to work independently with precision and accountability
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Service-oriented with excellent client communication
  • Team player with organizational awareness
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in IT or related field and solid and relevant experience (or equivalent combination)
  • Experience in Agile environments and ITIL-based processes
