Job Description

The Account Representative is the primary contact between Ansys and customers in the assigned territory. The role focuses on creating new customer accounts, maximizing sales growth, and account penetration. Responsibilities include developing business opportunities through cold calling, attending industry events, and networking. The representative conducts sales presentations, proposes solutions with the ACE team, and provides weekly pipeline updates to improve performance. This role requires strong market development, communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.

Account representative ( Territory - South&North&West China)

Summary / Role Purpose

The Account representative serves as the primary contact between Ansys and customers in an assigned territory or set of named accounts.   The Account Representative is responsible for working to create new customer accounts.   A successful Account Representative maximizes sales growth, and account penetration in whitespace.

 

Job Description:

1.  Develop and explore business opportunities: Cultivate and develop potential customers, by cold call, participating in industry conferences, exhibitions, network information and other channels;    

2. Conduct effective preliminary sales presentation, solution proposal: Work closely with ACE team and territory sales team for technical and commercial proposal;    

3. Regular improvement plans: Provide weekly pipeline updates and reviews on individual and market performance and measures for improvement Desired Skills and Experience.

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience:

1.   Have strong market development, customer communication skills, keen observation and analytical judgment skills.

2.   Can adapt to high-intensity, fast-paced working environment, good teamwork ability.

3.   Bachelor degree or above in mechanical, electronic or related science and engineering.

4.   At least 2 years working experience in telemarketing or software sales To B

5.   Good presentation and negotiation skill in both Chinese and English.
