As an Analytics Engineer in Gameloft your role would be to:

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and game team to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design data models

• Clean, transform, test, and deploy, in our data modeling layer, datasets that are ready for analytics so Data Analysts and the whole company can work efficiently with our data. Ensure code meets best practices, SQL standards, and performance.

• Provide data modeling expertise to all data practitioners through code reviews, pairing, and training to help deliver optimal, DRY, and scalable data model designs and queries

• Build robust and efficient Data Marts to answer business needs, using a Business Intelligence tool with a semantic layer.

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, e.g. BI engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst with strong engineering background

• You consider yourself an SQL expert, and you understand the difference between SQL that works and performant SQL

• You understand the importance of data modelling, familiar with star and snowflake schema design

• You can translate business needs to analytic tech design, and are able to explain complex concepts to a non-technical audience

Technical stack:

• Experience with a BI tool with semantic layer such as Looker, Qlik, SAP-BO, Microstrategy

• Experience with modern data stack e.g. Big data warehouses (Snowflake / Big Query / Redshift), DBT, Airflow and Git is a huge advantage.
