This role involves reviewing outsourced 3D models to ensure they meet game quality standards and align with project identity and techniques as defined by Art and Technical Directors. Responsibilities include polishing models for pipeline compatibility, integrating them into games with required quality, and implementing models using shaders and real-time lighting solutions for games and cinematics. The artist will create assets for art direction and gameplay prototypes, collaborating with programming and game design teams for optimal use of polygons, shaders, and textures. Additionally, they may create 3D models for vehicles, level props, and character weapons in various polygon counts, utilizing diffuse, roughness, metalness, and normal maps, along with efficient UV layout distribution.
