Are you interested in a Full-Time opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who have recently completed or will soon complete an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to apply to our Full-Time opportunity at our site in Plymouth, MN. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs under the guidance of senior staff.
    • Assist in the implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce the company’s environmental footprint, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and water conservation programs.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and assist in developing corrective actions.
    • Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation related to safety inspections, reports, and incident investigations.
  • Support the training and education of employees on health and safety protocols, including personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures.
  • Help investigate workplace accidents and near-misses, compiling data for analysis and assisting with corrective measures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of EHS programs.
    • Help maintain documentation for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Support the tracking, reporting, and analysis of sustainability performance, including carbon emissions, energy use, and waste management.

You're the right fit if:

  • B.S. Science / M.S. Science in Environmental Sciences or Sustainability
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and ability to learn advanced data collection tools
  • Previous intern experience in an Environmental field
  • Candidate should be comfortable working with teams of all levels, from Senior leadership to manufacturing associates, and making presentations when necessary
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details  

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $68,000 to $108,000 

  

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.     

  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here.   

  

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.   

  

Additional Information 

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future. 

    

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.
