Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Capture Artist who can start immediately and join our award-winning team. In this role, you’ll stage, shoot, and review shots across specialised development builds to create the best content for our clients. Our awesome client list and fast growth are fueled by a culture of direct communication and a strong creative focus. We need someone who can jump in and start making an impact right away, with minimal guidance. 

What You’ll Do

• Select footage that meets the brief requirements and tells a story, showcasing the games and their elements in the best possible light.

• Fully understand the latest version of each game and be the conduit for all game updates.

• Assist with weekly reports on player insights through social listening.

• Gather high-quality assets and export them from the game when required.

• Maintain clear and open communication with the development team, reporting issues promptly and participating in discussions to resolve them.

• Create high-quality game capture content using game development builds and OBS Studio.

• Have a keen eye for quality, ensuring the highest possible detail levels.

• Understand game trends across the gaming landscape.

• Meet capture deadlines, which can sometimes be very tight, and manage your own time efficiently.

• Manage media, keeping all gameplay capture organised and categorised for ease of use by the team.  

• Use Adobe Premiere to create rough assembly edits and selects.

• Navigate game development builds that are ever-changing, employing creative problem-solving to find ways around bugs and issues that appear in builds.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Game Capture Artist role would be ideal.

         • A working knowledge of Adobe Premiere. 

         • Be familiar with Unreal Engine, and keen to develop skills over time.

• A passionate gamer, especially one who enjoys mobile games.

• Willing to learn the games inside out and play them frequently.

• A keen eye for composition.

• Eager to develop game capture techniques and creative storytelling skills.

• Collaborative and able to work efficiently with multiple departments.

• Competence with OBS Studio (not essential).

• Proficient with both Mac and PC, with a focus on PC.

• Able to use iOS devices.
