The annual base salary for this position ranges from $62,200.00 in our lowest geographic market to $139,200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

Nike's Creative Operations team seeks a skilled PDP Retoucher to join our expanding Post-Production function. The ideal candidate will work closely with the PDP Retouch Manager, Digital Imaging, Production, and Creative teams to ensure product, color, and styling consistency throughout all Nike digital content for our owned channels, marketplace partners, and apps. The successful candidate must possess experience retouching for on-figure apparel and product still-life imagery in a deadline-driven, high-volume studio environment. This is a full-time position based at Nike's Los Angeles Photo Studio. Applicants must provide a portfolio showcasing their technical proficiency in retouching, compositing, and color correcting.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We seek an experienced e-commerce Retoucher to join our Post-Production team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess technical and creative expertise in high-volume image editing for digital commerce platforms. This individual should have excellent time management and communication skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment. A passion for photography and the ability to translate Nike's evolving visual aesthetic into our product display page (PDP) imagery through on-model and still-life retouching is essential. Excelling in a fast-paced studio environment, the candidate will play a crucial role in both creative and technical aspects. This role involves hands-on retouching and developing workflows for internal image editing best practices, offshore standardization, and SOP governance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality execution.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

As Nike's PDP Retoucher, you will perform high-volume retouching on a wide range of product detail page imagery for our owned channels and marketplace partners, including on-figure, still-life, lifestyle, performance, footwear, soft goods, accessories, and hollow body product photography. You will utilize your skills to elevate and enhance PDP assets, incorporating beauty editing, color grading, color balancing, and product clean-up. You will maintain consistency and quality of all product assets and perform supplemental tasks such as cropping, quality control, and reviewing technical specifications. The candidate will utilize a standardized layer structure in accordance with department standards and meet established daily productivity targets. Your role will involve maintaining consistency, accuracy, and quality across all retouched images, ensuring they meet Nike's brand standard and PDP's creative vision. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality. Staying up to date with industry trends, tools, and technology to continually improve your skills and techniques will be essential to your success with this role, ensuring all content meets readiness targets and seasonal launches.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Under the leadership of the Global Post-Production Director and guidance of the PDP Retouch manager, you will contribute to a wide range of PDP retouching workflows. You will collaborate closely with the in-house post-production team, lead digital tech, producers and other creatives to intake and deliver best-in-class PDP assers. Additionally, you will collaborate with external teams, partner agencies, and production vendors to coordinate and execute post-production deliverables and digital outputs. When applicable, you will provide supervision and guidance to freelance retouchers, fostering a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Strong and polished retouching skills - keen eye and aesthetic
  • 3+ years of retouching in a studio environment
  • Must be exceptionally detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Ability to retouch a wide range of product and on-figure images that involve complex cleanup and color correction
  • Proactive and able to show initiative to foresee/resolve issues related to post-workflow
  • Proficient knowledge of color theory
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, hardworking with a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capture One experience a plus, but not required
  • Adobe Scripting / Automation / Javascript Knowledge a Plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom)
  • Proficiency in Airtable, Frame.io, and Microsoft Office preferred
  • Must be proficient with Mac OS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Photography, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
