Job Description Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Leader to own and lead the overall Design, Architecture, Execution and Governance of Salesforce Platform (Sales cloud, Service cloud, Experience cloud) and its integration landscape. Will own, drive, and implement best in-class technical platform architecture in advancing the GE Digital’s Salesforce ecosystem ahead of the industry curve. Build secure, scalable, and viable products with intuitive customer experience. Will setup, own, and drive Salesforce architecture governance board to enforce technical governance, validate technical designs, build platform road map, conduct product evaluations, promote DevOps/QA automation maturity, and build/maintain re-usable component library.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will

  • Design, develop and execute software solutions on Salesforce (Sales, Service, Revenue clouds), and integrations into various platforms such as CPQ, ERP, Marketing, MDM etc.
  • Create high-level product specifications, design documents and architectural blueprints with attention to service layers, abstract level integrations and re-usability of components, for the development team to follow.
  • Collaborate with development team to build secure, modular, scalable, high performance software products.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend emerging tools/technologies, with POC’s to Leadership team to that adds value to business or brings efficiency/optimization to development lifecycle.
  • Translate functional requirements into well-architected solutions with strong advocacy and guidance to leverage the Salesforce platform’s out of the box functionalities.
  • Conduct "Whiteboard" sessions to facilitate architectural, design, process, and no/low code discussions to evoke innovative solutions and approaches in an inclusive manner across the commercial system landscape (ERP, Flexera, OIC/Boomi, MDM and other upstream/downstream teams).
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain high quality Design blueprints, Data Models, ER diagrams, system flow diagrams and integration landscape maps.
  • Establish standard, repeatable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities related to salesforce platform.
  • Setup and drive Salesforce Architecture governance board to influence tactical decisions to build scalable and viable products.
  • Define and develop software security life cycle best practices, processes, and controls to avoid risk by keeping the platform secure and in compliant with regulatory requirements at CI layer, using recommended code quality, SAST and DAST tools.
  • Work closely with Build, Operations, QA and DevOps leads in establish QA Automation, DevOps pipelines, Data Quality standards, Code Quality, standards Version control systems, backup/restore mechanisms, and release management frameworks.
  • Evangelize, and guide Engineering team members through periodic code reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
  • 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce work experience with development, configuration and administration using APEX class/coding, Custom coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Workflows, Flow, Functions, SFDX, Java, JavaScript, React, CSS, HTML, Templates, LWC Components and Web Services with the Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Bulk, etc.).
  • 3-5 Years of work experience as a Salesforce application technical leader in delivering complex multi-year Blue-Green Salesforce platform implementation.
  • Expert level understanding of the core Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue, Community Cloud) with functional knowledge of the entire product suite, including Marketing Cloud, Integration Cloud, Einstein analytics and Salesforce CPQ.
  • Experience with SaaS to SaaS integration and middleware such as Dell Boomi, OCI etc.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, code review best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, DevOps automation tools such as Copado or Flosum.
  • Knowledge of AWS (Lambda), Mulesoft and Heroku app development platform and Heroku PostgreSQL a plus.

Working Hours: This role requires you to work 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.
