The Data & Analytics organization is at the forefront of developing and maintaining frameworks, tools, and data products vital to WBD, including flagship streaming product Max and non-streaming products such as Films Group, Sports, News and overall WBD eco-system. This team will support studios, sports, news and corporate as well.
Roles & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Staff Program Manager for Global Data & Analytics Team. In this role, you will work closely with Head of Data & Analytics and many internal and external teams to deliver successful projects for the company. The ideal candidate will excel at large scale program management, executive communication and presentation, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be capable of driving project success by working closely with many engineering and business teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and tech executives, engineers, data scientists to understand project details, dependencies and build end to end program.
Gather requirements across various functions and build to roadmap by working closely with engineering teams.
Communicate effectively through clear and concise written and verbal communication, acting as the primary point of contact for Data & Analytics leadership.
Develop and maintain project timelines, securing commitments and identifying critical paths.
Become a subject matter expert in Analytics space and connect the dots by working with various team and clear impediments to make program success.
Monitor progress and report status to executive leadership including C-level.
Apply processes, standards, and risk management thoughtfully, ensuring the appropriate amount of process and structure for successful outcomes.
Utilize industry-standard tools and practical approaches to problem-solving.
Influence the team through data and objective-driven decision-making, guiding outcomes and operational excellence improvements.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the team's role within the business and its alignment with the overall company objectives.
What to Bring:
10+ years of proven experience in program and or product management
5+ years of experience in Engineering (Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science etc)
2+ years of experience in Data, Analytics and Science Engineering.
Previous experience in working closely with executive leadership to communicate program status, risk and mitigation (CTOs, CDOs, CEOs etc)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify simple and effective solutions.
Excellent decision-making abilities, knowing when to engage appropriate resources for problem resolution.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely – previous executive presentation experience is a must.
Proficient in using industry-standard tools and software applications.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with stakeholders.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and risk management principles is desirable.
