Studio Producer & Editor

SUMMARY

Pacers Sports & Entertainment is seeking a Studio Producer & Editor that will assist in the day-to-day operations within the Game Operations department. Their primary duties will include production of various audio / video elements, scheduling and running various aspects of production, coordinating and performing game and event night activities, and assisting in other areas within the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce and edit video / audio elements, as well as design and produce graphics for game night or event night use.
• Assist in various game night and event night roles as assigned. This includes producing and/or directing Pacers, Fever, and Mad Ants in-arena game night broadcasts.
• Develop and pitch new ideas to enhance the game night experience for our fans across all brands. This includes video elements, sponsor integration, and on-court activations.
• Field produce remote production events, including camera operation, interviews, and other on-site roles.
• Coordinate integration of video / audio production elements with broadcast and web.
• Attend department and company meetings as a Game Operations representative as assigned.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and possibly holidays.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, production, or related field preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud including experience producing videos and graphic elements using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Reliable transportation is required.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as basic file transfer experience and awareness of various social media platforms.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to read and write correspondence. Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public in both verbal and written form.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Knowledge to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as basic math concepts and analyzing cost / value.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret directions and information. Ability to resolve what is reasonable and acceptable based upon individual client needs. Must be able to work independently.
