We started life in 2016 in a garden shed in the UK. Today, we’re building FitXR, one of the top-downloaded apps on the Meta Quest store. We’ve raised close to $30m from top investors such as Maveron, Hiro, and BoostVC.

TLDR
As a Technical Artist, you'll be responsible for creating VFX assets, shaders, materials and tools in Unity and establishing pipelines, acting as the essential bridge between art, design, and engineering to help us continue building world-class VR games.
You'll play a crucial role in shaping our artistic and technical processes, ensuring that our tools and assets are optimised for performance and visually appealing. Where you’ll spend your time
Develop and refine the processes that ensure our artistic assets are seamlessly integrated into our games
Work closely with the Art and Engineering teams to develop and optimise VFX, shaders, 3D assets to enhance our tools and pipelines, ensuring they meet the needs of all departments
Regularly review and optimise game performance to ensure a smooth and high-quality experience for players
Offer innovative input on projects, helping to push the boundaries of what’s possible in VR game development
Deliver top-notch results within production schedules, ensuring all assets meet our standards
Continuously seek out and implement new methods to improve our development processes
Assist artists in creating assets that are ready for implementation, ensuring they adhere to technical requirements
We’d love to see from you
You’ve successfully shipped multiple projects and have a strong portfolio showcasing your technical artistry
Extensive experience with Unity and a deep understanding of its capabilities and limitations
Proficiency in creating tools for artists, enhancing their workflow and productivity
Solid understanding of 3D production processes, including proficiency with software like Maya, 3DsMax or Blender
Skilled in languages such as C#, Python, C++, or HLSL is a nice to have
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to find creative solutions to technical challenges
