The Translation and Localization Project Manager will be responsible for managing translation and localization projects from start to finish. This includes establishing project requirements and timelines with clients, selecting and managing translators and editors, monitoring project progress, ensuring translation quality through checks, and resolving any project issues. The role involves preparing and delivering project reports, collaborating with the sales team on proposals, and working with the production team to optimize workflow.
Must have:
- 3+ years of experience in translation project management
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ)
- Experience with localization of software, websites, and marketing materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Good to have:
- Experience with working on games localization projects
- Experience with other languages (e.g., Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean)
