The Translation and Localization Project Manager will be responsible for managing translation and localization projects from start to finish. This includes establishing project requirements and timelines with clients, selecting and managing translators and editors, monitoring project progress, ensuring translation quality through checks, and resolving any project issues. The role involves preparing and delivering project reports, collaborating with the sales team on proposals, and working with the production team to optimize workflow.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of experience in translation project management
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ)
  • Experience with localization of software, websites, and marketing materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Good to have:
  • Experience with working on games localization projects
  • Experience with other languages (e.g., Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean)

Job Details

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the localization and translation projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities:
  • Managing all aspects of translation and localization projects from start to finish.
  • Liaising with clients to establish project requirements, scope, and timelines.
  • Selecting and managing translators, editors, and other linguistic resources.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring the quality of translations by conducting quality checks.
  • Resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Preparing and delivering project reports to clients.
  • Working with the sales team to prepare proposals.
  • Working with the production team to optimize project workflow.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in translation project management.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
