Job Summary
HOLOGATE is seeking a talented 3D Artist to join their creative team. The role involves working across the entire 3D art pipeline, from modeling and texturing to integration into Unreal Engine, to create visually compelling and technically optimized assets for immersive entertainment experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality 3D art and thrives in a collaborative, technology-driven environment, making a significant visual impact.
Must Have
- Create high-quality 3D assets with a strong focus on modeling, texturing, and UV layouting
- Follow modern game art workflows, including high-poly to low-poly baking
- Ensure clean topology and optimized assets for real-time applications
- Implement and optimize 3D models within the Unreal Engine 5 pipeline
- Collaborate closely with artists, technical artists, and developers to ensure visual and technical consistency
- Maintain high artistic and technical quality standards across all assets
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable 3D art role
- Strong skills in 3D modeling and general art fundamentals
- Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
- Solid experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or 5
- Strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and detail, with the ability to develop own designs
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment
- Excellent communication skills in German and English

- Knowledge of rigging and skinning for characters
