Position Summary:
The Accountant I is responsible for performing accounting‐related duties on a professional level. This position consists of various responsibilities in the following areas: invoicing, payment processing, and other duties as assigned.
Important Note: This is a short-term role for 6 months.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
The Accountant I is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Check and verify all incoming invoices
- Assisting manager in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Processing payments (Petty Cash)
- Check and verify the Vendor Registration Form
- Assisting the team for External Auditor to accurate and timely Year End Audit and Tax Audit.
- Processing of accounts payables
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and controls
- Ensure compliance with local reporting requirements (sales taxes, VAT, income taxes, WHT)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- Bachelors or relevant work experience or certification/courses.
- At least 1 year of experience in accounting. Basic experience in financial statements (income/P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement) and a good understanding of accounting processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Accounting Close procedures to create, implement, and manage.
- Basic experience in operating Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- ng or related fields.
- Basic experience in accounting systems (having experience in ACCURATE Online would be preferable)
- Organized and high attention to detail
- Proficiency in written and verbal English language
- Willing to relocate to Yogyakarta
