Accounting and Tax Specialist

SoftwareOne and Crayon are seeking an Accounting and Tax Specialist to support daily finance operations, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate records. This full-time, remote role in Poland involves preparing and reviewing invoices, assisting with banking tasks, month-end closings, statutory reports, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting or finance, experience with financial tasks, understanding of Polish tax rules, strong Excel skills, and good English.

Must Have

• Prepare and review invoices ensuring basic VAT and CIT compliance.
• Post purchase invoices and support daily financial operations.
• Help with banking tasks, payments, and liquidity tracking.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare simple statutory reports and support GUS or NBP data submissions.
• Perform account reconciliations and check the correctness of accounting entries.
• Background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working in finance or accounting tasks.
• Understanding of Polish tax rules and accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with MS Office.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems.
• Good English skills for communication and reporting.

As an Accounting and Tax Specialist, you’ll support daily finance operations, help with compliance tasks, and make sure our records stay clean and reliable. You’ll work closely with the finance team and advisors to keep things running smoothly.
