Job Summary
As an Activity Quality Manager, you will be a strategic leader responsible for ensuring synergy between Valeo Group standards and global OEM requirements. The role involves implementing and enforcing global quality standards, managing client relationships, coordinating audits, leading and mentoring a team of Quality Engineers, overseeing change management processes, and strategically resolving complaints and corrective actions. The goal is to drive operational excellence and build a 'Zero Defects' culture.
Must Have
- Implement and enforce global Valeo Group quality standards.
- Act as Valeo's representative in contacts with OEM clients.
- Coordinate and conduct external and internal audits.
- Mentor and develop Quality Engineers.
- Oversee change management and deviations.
- Strategically manage complaints and corrective processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality.
- Higher technical education (engineering).
- Practical knowledge of IATF 16494 and VDA 6.3 standards.
- Proficiency in FMEA, SPC, MSA, PDCA/FTA, 8D tools.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Managerial, analytical thinking, and strong results orientation.

The Lighting Systems Production Plant in Chrzanów manufactures rear and front lamps for passenger cars using advanced metallization, assembly, and plastic injection technologies. Additionally, the plant has a fully equipped measurement laboratory with a unique photometric research tunnel. Due to the development of new projects, a modern Development Center has been opened in Chrzanów, which will focus on designing and producing innovative lighting systems dedicated to passenger cars.

As an Activity Quality Manager, you will become a strategic leader responsible for the synergy of Valeo Group standards with the requirements of global OEM manufacturers. We are looking for an expert who will translate their knowledge into operational excellence and build a 'Zero Defects' culture.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Strategic Implementation: Implementation and enforcement of global Valeo Group quality standards.
- Client Relations: Acting as the 'Face of Valeo' in contacts with OEM Clients and building partnership relations.
- Audit Management: Coordination and effective conduct of external and internal audits.
- Team Leadership: Mentoring and developing the competencies of Quality Engineers and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Change Management: Supervision of change management processes and deviations in accordance with rigorous procedures.
- Problem Solving: Strategic management of complaints and corrective processes.
Your Profile:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in quality in the automotive industry (essential condition).
- Education: Higher technical education (engineering).
- Substantive Knowledge: Practical knowledge of IATF 16494 and VDA 6.3 standards.
- Quality Tools: Proficiency in using: FMEA, SPC, MSA, PDCA/FTA, 8D.
- Foreign Languages: Fluent knowledge of English (daily cooperation with global structures and clients).
- Soft Skills: Managerial skills, analytical thinking, and strong results orientation.
