Job Summary

At TransUnion, the Analyst role focuses on providing high-quality, comprehensive data to improve decision-making. Associates are encouraged to drive their professional development, with access to support and mentorship. This position involves customer-facing or operations responsibilities in reporting management, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to meet customer needs and maintain regulatory compliance. It is a hybrid role based in Chicago, Illinois.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of professional experience in customer-facing or operations role in reporting management
  • Proven customer management skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to build open, honest and mutually-beneficial relationships both internally with stakeholders and across the customer organization
  • A proven understanding of the operations function, with previous experience in banking, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries considered an asset
  • The ability to multi-task and handle high volumes of small projects simultaneously
  • Develop detailed data requests and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining regulatory compliance in a complex environment with a demonstrated understanding of credit reporting laws and regulations
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to present data and information effectively with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Good to Have

  • Previous experience with Salesforce and/or Metro 2® credit reporting
  • A high level of computer literacy, and excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with designing and implementing dashboards and reporting
  • Tableau User experience
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated environment is a plus

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $75,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
