Job Description
The Card Shuffler is responsible for attending gaming tables and executing card-change procedures according to company protocols. This role involves meticulously checking and shuffling cards in the card counting rooms (CCRs) and at gaming tables, adhering to specific shuffling procedures. The Card Shuffler must follow the assigned schedule, promptly report any risks, mistakes, or unusual activities to the Pit Boss. They are also tasked with informing the Pit Boss about the need for new cards, monitoring card quality, assisting in training new shufflers when needed, and adhering to Pennsylvania Gaming Commission Regulations and company policies.
Must have:
- Attend gaming tables and manage card change procedures.
- Properly check and shuffle cards in CCRs.
- Follow shuffling procedures in CCRs and at gaming tables.
- Report any risks or mistakes to the Pit boss immediately.
Job Details
- Attend gaming tables for card-change procedure according to the company’s’ procedures.
- Properly check and shuffle the cards in the cards’ counting rooms (hereinafter, CCRs).
- Follow terms of the shuffling procedures in the CCRs and at the gaming tables.
- Follow schedule assigned when performing duties.
- Immediately report to the Pit boss of any risks or committed mistakes, problems and / or unusual activities in the gaming studios and other company’s premises caused by other employees or other causes.
- Inform Pitboss in a timely manner to replace and/or receive new cards or deck of cards for each shift.
- Evaluate and keep track on the quality and visual look of the cards.
- Assist training new shufflers if required by the management.
- Adhere to Pennsylvania Gaming Commission Regulations and PT Services regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
