Executive Assistant 

Seeking a solutions oriented Executive Assistant to report to the VP Product Development. In this role you will be expected to provide extensive executive administrative support to the VP and general support to the Product Development Team.  Critical to your success will be your superior communication skills, excellent judgment, flexibility and fluidity, and attention to detail—from the mundane to the more strategic. We are looking for someone who can take on a wide range of administrative support tasks that include (but are not limited to): heavy scheduling and calendar management, travel coordination and logistics, communication to management and company, etc. This role will also take on special projects such as: budget management, contract management, coordinating team off-sites, and several other additional ad hoc projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage executive’s calendar and meetings independently across international timelines. This includes developing an understanding of organizational priorities, challenges, and stakeholders across the organization to proactively and independently manage the VP’s calendar. 
  • Arrange complicated domestic and international travels for the Executive and select team members. 
  • Supports client Product Development Team with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects (vendor management, NDA/contract management, etc.).   
  • Provide logistical support for team meetings, offsite meetings, events and conferences. 
  • Compile and process expense reports in a timely manner for the Executive. 
  • Create, track, and update organization/team related projects and documents on a monthly basis as assigned (i.e.: organizational charts, team email lists/Slack channels, etc.) 
  • Serve as a helpful knowledge base for staff within the department, especially for process and procedures, and provide assistance in a hands-on, proactive manner. 
  • Support office space planning needs as growth occurs within team and work closely with hiring managers, Facilities and IT. 
  • Coordinate on-boarding for new team members that report to the VP and directs. 
  • Act as administrative liaison between the executives and Sony group companies, vendors, and industry contacts. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Communication and Contact: Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company. 
  • Relationships with Others: Works collaboratively and effectively with senior executives, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside of the company; capable of bringing people together. 
  • Global Interaction: Ability to efficiently manage complex schedules across multiple time zones and to coordinate smoothly in various cultural settings. 
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE 

  • An Associate’s degree or equivalent 
  • 5+ years of administrative or relevant work experience 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP/SRM, Confluence, Slack and Concur 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Process-oriented, with attention to detail and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work independently on difficult projects with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion 
  • Business-level Japanese language proficiency preferred  
  • An interest in interactive entertainment/gaming industry

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

$85,100$127,700 USD
