Job Description
Experienced Bridge Engineer/Project Manager for Ørestaden/Odense/Vejle/Aalborg
Help us secure and preserve our infrastructure for the future.
Our department, which works with the renovation of bridges and other infrastructure constructions, needs more colleagues to solve our many exciting tasks.
Here you will be able to work with our core service, which is the renovation of bridges - ranging from smaller municipal bridges to large bridges such as the South Funen bridges from Svendborg to Langeland, as well as Lillebælt, Storebælt, Vejlefjord, Alssund, Sallingsund, etc. You will also have the opportunity to be part of project teams that solve similar tasks throughout Denmark.
We are a diverse department with equal parts generalists, technically strong specialists, and project managers, who largely work across departments in Rambøll. Collaboration with our skilled colleagues from other disciplines therefore plays a very large role, as does the ability to understand others' ways of thinking.
We create long-lasting and sustainable solutions within renovation, lifetime extension, and reinforcement of existing structures. But we are also involved in new infrastructure projects, both nationally and internationally, where we contribute with both expertise and the ability to coordinate interfaces. Our expertise in long-lasting and sustainable solutions, as well as execution-related conditions, is highly valued for the design of details and material selection on projects across all of Rambøll.
We are involved in all phases of projects and therefore have a high degree of experience feedback from tenders, execution, etc. We carry out inspections, operational tasks, and design renovations, where we often manage construction and site supervision ourselves. There is therefore ample opportunity to get 'out in the field' on projects, and there is great freedom to influence which of these tasks one participates in, depending on one's own interests.
As an employee in the Existing Bridges and Structures department, you will have the opportunity to bring your own experience into play and direct access to our strongest technical specialists in the field, both as project participants and for sparring, as well as for your own future development. As an employee in the department, you also typically quickly gain a large internal network in Rambøll, which is used both professionally and socially.
We highly value social interaction and social events, which strengthen our human relationships and well-being, and form the foundation for good cooperation. We are a strong team where we can always get support from each other - both professionally and personally. Working hours are fully flexible, so they can be adapted to individual needs.
Tasks can range from smaller projects, where you are responsible for all processes with sparring as needed from our skilled technical specialists, to larger interdisciplinary infrastructure projects with a large project organization. You therefore get a unique opportunity to work across Rambøll and develop yourself both professionally and personally in the direction you want, including across national borders, if that is of interest. If you wish to work with project management, you will complete Rambøll's internal project management training based on IPMA, if you do not already have similar qualifications.
We are looking for a candidate with minimum 5-10 years of experience in the renovation of structures - optimally within bridges or similar infrastructure. We expect the department to grow, which is why for the right candidate there will be an opportunity to become a team leader, with great opportunity to influence future development.
If you are interested in the position, you are welcome to contact me before January 5, 2026.
Sincerely,
Gazi Hastürk (Head of Department)
