Frontend Developer – Team Lead

Job Summary
SOFTSWISS is seeking an experienced Frontend Team Lead to expand its Game Aggregator team. This role involves leading a team of 3+ developers, providing mentorship, allocating tasks, and managing hiring and performance reviews. The Team Lead will also focus on process improvement, risk assessment, and full-cycle feature delivery within an agile Scrum environment, collaborating with product, infrastructure, and business teams to improve product quality.
Must Have
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the dev team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills.
- Allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members based on their strengths and expertise.
- Hiring (tech interviews) & onboarding new employees.
- Probation period & performance review feedback, including performance issues handling.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the dev team and across the development lifecycle, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of concern, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize feautures risks.
- Work in a fully agile environment (we're using scrum) with senior engineers and the business side.
- Perform full-cycle Feature deliver: Clarify requirements (inconsistency, etc) provided by Product Manager (Business), Estimate efforts, Feature decomposition, Manage services' dependencies.
- Participation in improving product quality.
- Participation in code review, backlog grooming, and retro.
- Collaborate with other teams - product, infrastructure, and business.
- 5+ years of experience in JS (ES6+), Typescript.
- 1+ years of experience as a team or tech lead.
- Experience with ReactJS 19, Zustand/Mobx, etc.
- Experience with HTML/CSS.
- Experience with Webpack/Vite, Babel, Docker, GitLab CI, Open API, SSE/WebSocket, SSR(Remix).
- Ability to write testable code and unit tests for it.
- Good UX knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills.
Good to Have
- Previous experience in back-office development.
- Some experience in Go/BackEnd development itself.
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture.
- Understanding of observability (logging, metrics, etc.).
- Previous involvement in scaling teams or cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with FSD methodology.
