PayPay, a fintech company with over 70 million users in about 7 years, is seeking a Global Alliance and Business Promotion professional. This role is crucial for evolving PayPay from a payment app into a financial super app, driving strategic partnerships with global companies, and leading international strategy and business promotion to create future financial services for over 70 million users.

About the Job

Introduction to PayPay Financial Strategy Division

This team is responsible for strategic planning and execution to evolve PayPay from a payment app into a financial super app, aiming to achieve the company-wide mission of making PayPay the No. 1 Fintech company. The team's goal is to evolve into a new smartphone-centric financial super app, where everything related to money can be realized around PayPay, not just "paying" with PayPay.

Organizational structure: Composed of about 70 members ranging from late 20s to late 40s.

Background of the Recruitment

We believe that "creating a financial super app" is not simply about improving the UI/UX of the app, but about creating "new financial services" that thoroughly pursue user-first principles. All team members are seriously thinking daily about creating "future financial services" that will fundamentally overturn Japan's many problematic financial services, and we believe that PayPay, with its user base of over 70 million, can achieve this. To realize this, we are recruiting to further strengthen the team due to organizational expansion.

Job Responsibilities

To evolve into a "financial super app," we aim for further business expansion and will focus on strategic alliances with global leading companies in various industries. We are looking for individuals who can take on the challenge of creating new partnerships from a global perspective, lead international strategy planning and business promotion as core members, and together pioneer "future financial services."

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Planning and proposing strategic alliances
Researching, discovering, and approaching target companies
Negotiating and concluding agreements with potential partner companies
Promoting and managing alliance projects
Coordinating and adjusting with internal and external stakeholders

Work Location

Hybrid Workstyle (remote work at office, home, or satellite office)
*Attendance/remote work will be handled according to the rules and work instructions of the affiliated organization.

Working Hours

Super flex-time system (no core time)
Principle: 9:00 AM - 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days

Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)

Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, prorated by joining month. Usable from joining date)

Salary

Annual salary system (includes a portion of fixed overtime pay)
