Located 20 minutes from the Paris-Saclay technology hub, the site is one of the largest centers of excellence for surface radars. We contribute to developing, designing, integrating, and testing aerial surveillance radars dedicated to target detection and identification.
The objective of this internship is to compare angular radar precision performances between a historical parabolic antenna technology with servo-mechanisms and new AESA digital electronic scanning antenna technologies.
The challenge is to quantify the precision differences between these two technologies to position the new technology relative to the existing one.
You will work with a person who masters AESA technology, could rely on documents for servo-mechanism antenna technology, and potentially experts in this technology, some of whom are based in Brazil.
Knowledge in Signal Processing and Automation (Controlled Systems)
You are proficient in Matlab/Simulink programming.
You are interested in digital and more classical technologies.
You will work in an engineering team, for the development of advanced digital radar systems. You will evolve in a high-tech environment, with challenges in the defense sector.
All our internships are conventioned and subject to remuneration, the amount of which is determined according to your level of study.
