Lead Manufacturing Engineer

Leads engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, propose budgets for production, and implement new technologies. This role involves managing manufacturing engineers and technicians, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating on new product introductions to ensure manufacturability. Responsibilities also include managing production equipment, establishing documentation standards, and ensuring material data accuracy and setup.

• New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with design/operations to ensure manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
• Production equipment: Manage equipment selection, installation, upgrades, tooling design, and capital investment budgets.
• Documentation & Standards: Establish/approve process specifications, work instructions, material specifications, and ensure compliance (Safety, Quality, Regulatory).
• Material data accuracy: driving initiatives & Implementing a continuous process to review material data accuracy
• Material setup: define production BOM for new code and define Make or Buy based on industrial organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience
• SAP MM module knowledge
• Fluency in Italian and English
