The Learning & Development Lead at VGW will support the creation, implementation, and management of learning and development projects. This role involves collaborating with leaders to assess skill gaps, advising on L&D matters, developing targeted learning initiatives, managing projects with internal and external partners, tracking progress, researching new learning approaches, and introducing best practices. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in training, including 3 years as a lead or manager, and extensive experience in L&D, particularly with leadership programs and cultural initiatives. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills are essential.

Our Learning & Development team in Manila is currently looking for a Learning & Development Lead to join the team.

The Learning and Development Lead will provide support in the formation, implementation and management of learning and development projects and initiatives that fosters a culture of continuous learning in accordance with business priorities and targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to assess skill gaps and capability challenges. 
  • Provide advice to PH and Global leaders regarding learning & development matters. 
  • Develop and implement targeted learning & development projects and initiatives relevant to the business needs. 
  • Manage learning & development projects and initiatives in collaboration with both internal and external partners. 
  • Track and monitor the progress and effectiveness of learning & development projects and initiatives.
  • Research potential new learning activities and approaches that enhance learner experience and training effectiveness.
  • Introduce best practices in learning & development to help drive organization excellence. 

What you will bring to the role:

  • A minimum of 8 years solid working experience in training, 3 years of which must be as a training lead or manager.
  • Extensive experience in Learning and Development (L&D) with a focus on leadership programs, cultural initiatives, facilitating discussions, and coaching leadership teams.
  • Able to identify training needs, create curriculum for the targeted training and deliver training.
  • Proven ability in managing stakeholders.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Great communication and influencing skills.
