Job Description

As an Order Management Team Lead at Philips, you will manage customer service level agreements, ensuring high service delivery and improving logistic costs and forecast accuracy using lean principles. You will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize the supply chain and order flow. Key responsibilities include overseeing SLAs, acting as the primary market contact, leading continuous improvement projects, managing account performance, and leading a team of Order Managers to ensure compliant sales order management and team development.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for market-related inquiries, embodying the voice of the customer.
  • Facilitate proactive engagement with internal departments to resolve escalations, coach, and develop team members.
  • Initiate and oversee management improvement and continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence.
  • Own and manage SLAs for account performance, ensuring operational account development.
  • Handle escalations, prioritize effectively, and manage KPI targets to comply with auditing standards.
  • Lead and grow a team of Order Managers, ensuring end-to-end management of sales orders compliant with QMS/BMS standards.
  • Train and resolve escalations within the team, fostering collaboration through stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations OR Vocational Education in Order Management or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in order management, ordered fulfillment or equivalent OR no experience with Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong people skills, ideally with experience in team management and leadership overseeing teams of 10 or more members.
  • Analytical mindset is crucial for identifying operational gaps and opportunities for improvement through data-driven analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup.
  • SAP knowledge is required for this role.
  • Able to communicate efficiently in English.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the overall supply chain and maintain efficient order flow processes.

Your role:

  • Oversee SLAs with customers, implement strategies to improve service levels, logistic costs, and forecast accuracy. Initiate customer collaboration projects, ensuring seamless order flow from receipt to delivery and effective after-sales support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for market-related inquiries, embodying the voice of the customer. Facilitate proactive engagement with internal departments to resolve escalations, coach, and develop team members to enhance customer communication.
  • Initiate and oversee management improvement and continuous improvement projects to drive operational excellence. Apply lean methodologies to propose KPI enhancements and implement new systems and processes within work scope.
  • Own and manage SLAs for account performance, ensuring operational account development. Handle escalations, prioritize effectively, and manage KPI targets to comply with auditing standards. Make informed decisions independently to optimize planning, execution, and quality.
  • Lead and grow a team of Order Managers, ensuring end-to-end management of sales orders compliant with QMS/BMS standards. Train and resolve escalations within the team, fostering collaboration through stakeholder management and conflict resolution.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations OR Vocational Education in Order Management or equivalent.
  • You posses 4+ years of experience in order management, ordered fulfillment or equivalent OR no experience with Bachelor's Degree preferably with knowledge in Supply chain or equivalent.
  • You are proffesional with strong people skills, ideally with experience in team management and leadership overseeing teams of 10 or more members. An analytical mindset is crucial for identifying operational gaps and opportunities for improvement through data-driven analysis. Knowledge of Lean methodology is preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup, preferably with proficiency in Power BI. SAP knowledge is required for this role..

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
