Valeo is the world leader in automotive lighting. From the latest interior and exterior lighting innovations to cutting-edge wiping technologies, the Valeo Light Division of the Group offers innovative visibility systems with a strong style, improving driving safety and comfort.
The Valeo Site based in Angers (49) is a Research & Development center and a production site. It brings together 1,100 employees around the design and manufacture of lighting systems (headlights, taillights, etc.).
Your missions:
- Manage the Process team for your scope
- Define industrial orientations (process, equipment, factory layout, etc.)
- Ensure the deployment of process objectives and guarantee compliance within the site
- Manage and ensure the consistency of industrialization programs within the scope
- Pilot the industrial investment program
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate improvement plans
Responsible for the industrial technologies of your scope:
- Pilot and animate process expertise
- Coordinate interfaces between your site, group entities and the Process Expertise Center
- Manage industrial teams (factory, production and industrialization)
- Manage the site's industrial plan consistent with medium-term objectives
- Pilot the product and process standardization program
- Participate in technical committees and validate the ECR process
- Pilot and validate industrialization projects with the support of experts
- Define program allocation during CAA and IAR processes
- Participate in project reviews and steering committees (industrialization, technical validation, sourcing, etc.)
- Apply the equipment and tooling standardization rules defined by the Group
- Define programs and budgetary objectives
- Guarantee the industrial performance of the site (deliveries, deadlines, quality, asset utilization)
- Support affiliated sites during ramp-ups and in case of process problems
Travel to our sites abroad is expected (approximately 1 week/month).
About you:
- Graduated with an engineering degree or equivalent, ideally in a technical or engineering field
- You have at least 10 years of experience in a demanding industrial environment, including at least 5 years in a similar role, within the automotive industry (project and production support functions)
- Skills in industrial methods and Lean Manufacturing
- Ability to manage teams and plan industrial projects
- Fluent English and comfortable in an international environment
