Job Details
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, American Hockey League affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are seeking qualified individuals to work within the Phantoms’ Game Day Video Crew, PhantomsVision, for the 2024-2025 season. This is a part-time job for the hockey season, with potential for other events throughout the year, as needed.
The Game Day Video Crew is responsible for producing the live in-arena broadcast of all Lehigh Valley Phantoms games. Working under the game day director and producer, the Game Day Video Crew plays a critical role in the creation and management of the in-game atmosphere.
- Camerapersons (Stationary & Wireless)
- Lighting Operator
- Audio Operator
- Replay Operator (3Play)
- Prime Operator
- Shading
- Work multiple positions on the Video Board crew. In-arena and control room.
- Learn new technical skills as required.
- Help produce in-arena video board content
- Work with other video/media crew members to ensure smooth operational efficiency.
- Other assignments designated by the Gameday Director or Director of Audio Visual
- Prior experience in television/broadcasting is preferred. Prior experience with live sporting events is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of the game of hockey is highly preferred
- Knowledge of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and American Hockey League is preferred
- Prior experience working in a video control room is preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Attentiveness to the game and awareness of what is happening both on and off the ice
- Willingness to learn and cross-train in other areas of the Phantoms’ control room
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 35 lb. in moderate distances

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are a professional hockey team in Allentown, PA. The Phantoms play their home games at the PPL Center on Hamilton street in downtown Allentown. As the American Hockey league (AHL), affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Phantoms are entering their 8th season in the Lehigh Valley.
Established in 1996, the team has captured two Calder Cup Championships (1998, 2005), two Conference Championships (1998, 2005), two Regular Season Titles (1996-97, 1997-98) and four Division Championships (1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 2003-04, 2017-18).
