If you thrive in interdisciplinary collaborations and, as a project manager, are used to developing and challenging projects, then you might be the one we are looking for. With us, you become part of a global company that has been successful since 1945. Together, we lead the way and make a positive impact on society, businesses, and people worldwide. We work to create a sustainable future, and we strive to set a high standard for our industry with inspiring projects and innovative solutions that combine road safety, security, accessibility, functionality, and aesthetics.
You will be part of our Road and Traffic Department in Aarhus
We are a department consisting of more than 30 highly competent colleagues who work with large and small traffic, road, and construction projects throughout Denmark and for our international clients. Our department in Aarhus collaborates with Rambøll's other road departments across the country, as well as with our neighboring departments at home and abroad – within sustainability, drainage, structures, traffic and urban planning, ports and airports, and railways.
As a project manager with us, you will be part of a professionally strong environment, and you will be involved in a wide range of different projects from complex motorway projects to smaller intersection reconstructions and cycle paths. All projects are solved through interdisciplinary collaboration and open dialogue.
Our department's culture is welcoming and completely informal. We prioritize good collegiality both professionally and socially within the department and across Rambøll. The management philosophy follows Rambøll's values and can best be described as "freedom with responsibility." You will experience rich opportunities for personal development and to shape your own projects.
Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Project and technical management of road, traffic, and construction projects, including ensuring project progress, quality, and economy.
- Customer contact and consulting.
- Tender writing.
Through your interests and abilities, you will be able to help shape your future work and development areas, as our projects are many and very diverse.
Your starting point for constant development
From your first day at Rambøll, we support your personal and professional development. We expect your starting point to be:
- Technical background as an engineer or similar and have project management experience or a desire to take the next step in your career as a project manager.
- Knowledge of road regulations and experience with planning, design, and/or construction of infrastructure projects.
- You are passionate about providing professionally competent and professional advice, where you put our customers first.
- You take pride in delivering the best results across disciplines.
- You have good communication skills and understand how to translate technical knowledge and results into easily understandable language – both written and spoken.
- If you speak German, it will be an advantage, but not a requirement.
To succeed in the job, it is also important that you have attention to detail and can work both independently and with others.
