Summary

The Public Sector Consulting Associate at PwC Greece supports public organizations in achieving their business and operational objectives, managing financial and regulatory risks. Responsibilities involve project implementation in policy making, public administration reforms, and EU-funded projects; data analysis; identifying improvement opportunities; effective communication; and collaboration. The ideal candidate possesses up to 2 years of experience in consulting, research, or a related field, a degree in a relevant discipline, excellent writing skills in Greek and English, and advanced analytical skills. Knowledge of ESIF/EU Structural Funds and public procurement is a plus.
Must have:

Our Public & Government Sector Consulting team designs strategies and helps public organisations to materialise their business and operational objectives and to manage their financial and regulatory risks.  Our team combines industry knowledge, subject expertise and extensive experience in business strategy formulation, strategic and business planning and policy making. Our clients are the largest and most complex public organisations.

Due to the continued growth, we are looking for a  Public Sector Consulting Associate located in Athens.

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team

As a member of this team, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support in the project implementation for public sector consultancy projects in several areas related to policy making, public administration reforms, EU funded projects and programmes

  • Handle, manipulate and analyse data and information responsibly

  • Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise

  • Share and collaborate effectively with others

  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner – verbally and in the materials produced

What we are looking for

  • Up to 2 years of work experience in consulting firm / business unit / research organisation 

  • A degree in Economics, Business, Science, Technology or Engineering

  • Excellent writing skills in Greek and English language

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills

  • Knowledge of public sector

Optional but a strong plus will be:

  • an MBA or a Master’s degree in the fields mentioned above

  • Knowledge of ESIF/EU Structural Funds /RRF

  • Knowledge of public procurement framework
