Reporting to the Principal Art Director, the Senior Art Coordinator will work with the art organization to increase its efficiency and to aid in cross studio communication and collaboration. The Senior Art Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the art team by developing and implementing systems that enhance efficiency, communication, and collaboration. This role involves creating and maintaining documentation templates, optimizing Confluence spaces, assisting in recruitment efforts, and streamlining processes related to hardware and software acquisition. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a passion for systematization, and is driven to find innovative ways to improve the productivity and workflow of the art department.
You understand production methodologies and a desire to see a team working at maximum proficiency. Facilitating communication between different art disciplines is a goal. You are organized and can suggest and refine infrastructure to help the department increase efficiency. The Senior Art Coordinator is someone who focuses on best practices derived from listening to the team’s needs and working with them to identify and procure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Attend art-centric and art-focused meetings to take detailed notes and track action items. Ensure follow-up on action items to keep projects moving forward.
- Support recruiting efforts by helping define best hiring practices for hiring managers, ensuring all recruiting initiatives are being followed, ensure that recruiting documentation for candidates is consistent for all hiring managers and support all on-boarding efforts and materials.
- Through working with the Principal Art Director, the studio manager, and liaising with IT, facilitate requests and approvals for hardware, software, ergonomic support and training for employees to ensure that the team has everything they need to create the highest quality content.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the art team and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Implement and document new processes that improve the workflow and reduce friction within the team.
- Support the Art Leadership in creating and maintaining high quality presentation templates and overall output best practices for team and executive presentations.
- Support the art team on training and development initiatives.
- Provide general support to the art team as needed, including helping to organize team events, workshops, and presentations. Act as a point of contact for the art team for administrative tasks and coordination.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably within a creative or art-focused environment.
- Has worked supporting a game development team
- Proficiency in Confluence, project management software, and standard office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating efficient systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

º $40 - $60 USD Hourly
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $37 - $60 USD Hourly

º $48 - $60 USD Hourly
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $45 - $59 USD Hourly
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $37 - $53 USD Hourly
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $73,200 - $101,700 CAN Annually
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
