The Senior Project Manager, Success Delivery role is multifaceted, requiring strong skills in project planning, risk management, financial forecasting, stakeholder communication and customer satisfaction. The position demands the ability to manage multiple projects, drive delivery, and foster customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. It also requires coordinating with customers and team members onsite and remotely.
Success Delivery is a cross-functional team that includes Program / Project Management, Education, Cloud Engineering, Intelligent Access Engineering, and SmartLife Engineering teams. Success in the role requires proactive communication, status coordination, and the ability to resolve conflicts and escalations. Project Managers must be comfortable presenting to various audiences and managing both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
This position reports to Regional Vice President (RVP), Success Delivery Program and Project Management:
- Strategically lead and oversee all phases of Success Delivery projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer expectations.
- Drive proactive communication and coordination among all project stakeholders, fostering transparency and timely status updates to anticipate and resolve issues before escalation.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain comprehensive project schedules (individual and master), leveraging advanced planning tools and methodologies to optimize resource allocation and timeline adherence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and engineering teams/consultants, facilitating seamless collaboration and ensuring technical requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Provide expert guidance and direction to project teams, including third-party contractors, to ensure consistent delivery standards and accountability for outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress against established plans and schedules, utilizing critical analysis to identify deviations and implement corrective actions swiftly.
- Prepare, distribute, and present insightful project status reports tailored to diverse audiences, enabling informed decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project-level risks through robust risk management practices, ensuring project resilience and continuity.
- Lead change management initiatives with vendors and customers, adapting to evolving project scopes and requirements while maintaining stakeholder buy-in.
- Track and analyze project financials, including revenue, margins, and budget variances, to ensure financial targets are met and project profitability is maximized.
- Champion customer satisfaction and delivery excellence, consistently meeting or exceeding service level agreements and project milestones.
- Own all project exceptions, escalations, and conflict resolutions, demonstrating superior problem-solving and negotiation skills in high-pressure situations.
- Lead client communications with professionalism and clarity, ensuring all parties are informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years or more Project Management experience with enterprise class software and hardware implementation delivery
- Possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, change management, presentation, and customer engagement skills, including financial and business acumen
- Demonstrated record of success in previous positions.
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excels at learning quickly and adapting to change
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Experience working with Communication Service Providers
- Proven track record of meeting project deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and work autonomously
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient use in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Project, and Power Point
- Ability to effectively communicate at customer, management, and senior levels
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- PMP Certification
- Product knowledge
- Proficient knowledge in SAAS, IP, ATM, and/or TDM internetworking, switching or transmission
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational change management, with certification (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP, CSM, or equivalent)
Location:
- Remote-based position located in the United States or Canada with Eastern time zone preferred.
The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

126,500 - 189,800 USD Annual
Select US Metros and States:
110,000 - 165,000 USD Annual
Other US Locations:
99,000 - 148,500 USD Annual
