Job Summary

The Gaming/Slots Analyst supports the Gaming Ops (GO) Management team by using analytics to inform data-driven decisions related to the company’s global gaming operations. This role involves preparing and maintaining internal reports and dashboards, collaborating with BI and other department teams for data accuracy, and managing BI/AI requests. The analyst will monitor performance, optimize revenues, and provide development recommendations, working closely with cross-functional teams to support commercial departments and solve problems efficiently.

Must Have

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Cultivate communications with Game Operations and Sales teams.
  • Analyze data using Excel and present to stakeholders.
  • Leverage SQL and PowerBI for product and market insights.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly internal reports.
  • Upkeep current dashboards and collaborate with BI team.
  • Ensure data accuracy with other department teams.
  • Maintain an install base unit list.
  • Manage BI/AI requests from commercial stakeholders.
  • Maintain Footprint and Scorecard List.
  • Monitor performance and work on insights to optimize revenues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, accounting, sales, marketing, product management, IT).
  • Support commercial departments with daily ad-hoc tasks.
  • Utilize resources for efficient problem-solving.
  • Carry out assigned projects from Sr Management and Dir of Slot Analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, data science, quantitative methods, or business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of database and program languages including SQL, R or Python.

Good to Have

  • Preference for gaming Industry knowledge or desire to learn about the gaming industry

Responsibilities

  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Have the passion and grit to become a gaming industry performance expert
  • Cultivate communications with Game Operations and Sales teams.
  • Use Excel to analyze data and summarize/present to stakeholders
  • Leverage SQL and PowerBI tools to identify product and market insights
  • Dashboards, Internal Reports and External Reports
  • Prepare and maintain monthly internal reports for VP/Dir of Slots and Sales Team
  • Upkeep of current dashboards and collaborate with BI team for any future updates.
  • Collaborate with other department teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain an install base unit list of all active units.
  • Manage queue of BI/AI requests from commercial businesses stakeholders
  • Maintain the Footprint and Scorecard List
  • Continually monitor current performance and work with performance teams on insights to optimize revenues and provide future development recommendations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, sales, marketing, product management, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Support all commercial departments by efficiently completing daily ad-hoc tasks
  • Utilize all available resources to be an efficient and effective problem solver
  • Carry out any projects assigned outside the above-mentioned process by Sr Management and Dir of Slot Analysis

Skills and Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, data science, quantitative methods, or business preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite particularly MS Excel and PowerBI with advanced knowledge of the functions and abilities withing each software.
  • Database and Program languages including SQL, R or Python
