We are currently seeking a passionate and seasoned Senior IT Operations Manager to lead overseas foundation IT operational excellence to enable users distributed in Americas, APAC and Europe, including standard IT services such as hardware, software, email, productivity platforms (Slack, Jira, Confluence) and workplace infrastructure. You will collaborate with the various teams, partners, stakeholders from headquarters in China and other regions around the world. The company prides itself on its innovative projects that impacts and brings real value to the business.

As a Senior IT Operations Manager, drive overseas foundation IT customer satisfaction as IT is at the frontier to provide one of the most important experience for our global employees every day.

  • Lead our practical, best in industry, global IT automation strategy, to enable high user productivity and low cost IT support efficiency. This includes our Overseas Employee Center & ServiceNow enterprise platform, workflow automation etc.
  • Partner closely with other Overseas IT teams to design, build and operate a simple, sleek, cohesive digital employee experience, including the necessary applications, tools, gadgets, and processes. We believe this is a critical component to enable Tencent’s employee self-services, and rapid business growth in Overseas market.
  • Collaborate with various business and IT teams in Americas, Europe, and Asia, as well HQ teams in China, align the needs and solutions, influence/drive the necessary changes to achieve timely results.
  • Proactively balance global and local needs to ensure manageability and local user satisfaction.
  • Define and deliver analytics/metrics to drive and measure the IT operations excellence, support quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop a continuous improvement program focused on business value, process optimization, cost avoidance, cost reductions and IT “Speed to Market.”

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Technology Environment with a strong focus on Infrastructure, Systems Integration and/or Application Outsourcing Services
  • Experienced in solution planning across the entire IT stack including business, Apps, Data, Infrastructure and Process mgmt.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies and solutions
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of monitoring concepts, alert mechanisms, log monitoring, anomaly detections, creation, and setup of dashboards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
