This role is for a dynamic Hybrid Project/Product Manager embedded with a premier client, driving branding initiatives and digital platform enhancements. The manager will own the product roadmap, lead cross-functional projects, champion Agile methodologies, manage stakeholders, and solve problems to deliver transformational results.
Good To Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands
  • Background working in consulting or client-facing roles
  • Familiarity with brand management and digital marketing initiatives
  • Experience with product management tools (Jira, Asana, Aha!, etc.)
Must Have:
  • 5+ years in project, product, or hybrid management
  • Proven Agile expertise, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing product backlogs
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Cross-functional leadership experience
  • Strategic mindset connecting tactical work to business goals
  • Self-starter, taking initiative and driving results independently
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with digital products (websites, mobile applications)
  • Based in NYC, willing to work onsite 4x a week
  • Agile delivery leadership
  • Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with KPI and CSF tracking/reporting

The Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Hybrid Project/Product Manager to join our team and be embedded with our premier client. This is a unique opportunity for a self-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of strategic product vision and tactical project execution. You'll be the driving force behind branding initiatives and digital platform enhancements, working hands-on while maintaining the strategic perspective needed to deliver transformational results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Product Strategy & Execution: Own the product roadmap for digital properties, including websites and applications, translating business objectives into actionable product features and enhancements
  • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for branding and digital initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining exceptional quality standards
  • Champion Agile Methodologies: Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions with development teams and stakeholders
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, marketing teams, technical teams, and external vendors through exceptional communication and negotiation
  • Strategic Planning: Identify opportunities for platform optimization, brand consistency, and user experience improvements that align with business goals
  • Hands-On Problem Solving: Roll up your sleeves to remove blockers, resolve issues, and ensure teams have what they need to succeed
  • Bridge Communication Gaps: Serve as the translator between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared understanding across all parties
  • Manage Competing Priorities: Navigate multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining focus on highest-impact initiatives

Must Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, product management, or a hybrid role
  • Proven Agile expertise with hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing product backlogs
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to influence and inspire diverse audiences
  • Cross-functional leadership experience working with design, development, marketing, and executive teams
  • Strategic mindset with demonstrated ability to connect tactical work to broader business objectives
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of taking initiative and driving results independently
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to navigate competing priorities and stakeholder interests
  • Experience with digital products, including websites, mobile applications, or similar platforms
  • Must be based in NYC

Preferred Qualifications:

Salary Range:

  • $95–110 hourly
