The Position:
GameChanger (the #1 rated youth sports app for live streaming, scheduling, and scorekeeping) is seeking a Visual and Motion Designer to join us on our expanding content team! In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual and motion graphics content that aligns with our brand's identity and enhances user engagement. You will work closely with the go to market, content, and product teams to create compelling visuals for digital and traditional media channels, including websites, social media, advertising, and video content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conceptualization & Design: Create visually appealing designs, including graphics, animations, and videos, for various platforms such as websites, social media, digital ads, and email campaigns.

  • Motion Graphics Creation: Develop engaging motion graphics for videos, explainer animations, product launches, and promotional materials. (Occasional travel is expected to capture content, photos, or video.)

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across different media.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, brand, and product to understand design needs and ensure a cohesive visual identity across all platforms.

  • Creative Ideation: Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and visual concepts that align with campaign objectives.

  • Video Editing: Edit video content, add animations, transitions, and special effects to enhance storytelling.

  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain design files, including graphics, videos, and project assets, ensuring easy accessibility for team members.

Who You Are:

  • You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in visual and motion design, preferably in a creative agency, marketing team, or media production environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere).

  • Knowledge of 3D animation software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with UX/UI tools like Figma, or Sketch.

  • Strong creative and conceptual skills with the ability to produce innovative and visually compelling designs.

  • High attention to detail and ability to produce error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and designs to stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to adapt and experiment with new design trends, technologies, and tools with a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • You have a demo reel and/or portfolio that reflect instances of both excellent design and sleek motion graphics.

The target salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.

Compensation Range: $90K - $100K
